Playground Festival was one of the highlights of this year's festival calendar with exceptional performances from Hot Chip, Groove Armada, Maribou State and Pictish Trail.
This was the first time the site had been used for a music festival and so understandably the local authority had concerns about noise propagation. Working closely once again with KSG Acoustics we were able to come up with a sound design which delivered great results for the audience, whilst staying well within noise limits off site.
Array Processed d&b J Series was deployed for both it's superior pattern control and the warmth and punch that the 12" LF delivers. In conjunction with careful site design to make sure that the maximum rejection angle of the 16 strong J-Sub hyper-cardioid sub array sat exactly where the nearest houses were helped deliver these results to great acclaim.
